He was born in 1951 in Kadikuyu, Eskisehir and graduated from Law School of Ankara University. When he retired as an Inspector in 1997 he commenced to the profession of attorneyship with bar registration No 1501 at Bursa Bar. He is married. He has two sons and four lovely grandchildren namely Meliha, Yusuf, Murat, Beyza and Azra. (He smiles saying "everyone's grandchild is lovely, but these are such different").
